Another bad experience
You think you had it bad with SABIS in the Middle East?!? I have worked several years at SABIS in the USA and it is the worst place ever! I only stay there because I can show videos in class all day and do absolutely NO teaching.
I learned the hard way my first year at SABIS when the supervisor took me aside and told me-- "look, I like you so I'm going to give you a clue, stop trying and just do nothing".
My SABIS in the USA has a 50% teacher turnover rate. The only teachers that stay are the ones that don't care(like me now).
Students are permitted to physically abuse the teachers, but the real problem is the abuse from administration. Every word that comes out of these people's mouths is a LIE.
Teachers are expected to invent grades. Don't give the tests - just make a reasonable grade up.
SABIS Corp.. makes its money from the stupid SABIS books the SABIS schools must order. The books are just dumped in the dumpster upon arrival at the school.. It is just a big money-making machine.
